Virtual Run Journey

 So the attractive Seashell Medal along with its pretty sea creature pins had caught my eye. I contemplated it as I continue to scroll through my social media. I put my phone down thinking I had brushed the thought away, nope, it was still there.  I went back to my phone thinking it wouldn't come back on my feed and told myself that if it was gone it was a sign. Well, it was there! I clicked on the image for more information and I read through the page. Along with the Under the Sea  challenge, the Virtual Running Club offers other races of all types of distance like a Sesame Stree t 100 mile run, All 90's 90 mile, My Little Pony/Rainbow Retro Run and many more. Looking through the options I didn't think twice about it, I have done 5Ks, 10Ks, 1/2 Marathons and Marathons but nothing like a virtual run or a challenge. This is a 300 mile challenge!  Haven't marked any miles this week. I get steps in because I do a lot of walking at work but I don't consider it as a workout. I'm sure that if I add all the steps I put in, in a week they may total around 5 or 6 miles.  Anywho, I thought it would be a good idea to share on why I took on the crazy decision to sign up to this challenge and share it with you.  The sport of running became a hobby of mine after I completed my first marathon, and it probably became something therapeutic as I progressed through those years.
